McDonald’s has mostly used the colors red and yellow for their main company logo, social media pages, and also website elements such as buttons, icons, and banners.
The hexadecimal color code for their red color is #DB0007, and for their yellow is #FFCD00.
When it comes to the respective RGB value of those colors, red has 219 red, 0 green, 7 blue, and yellow has 255 red, 188 green, 13 blue.
In HSL, that same red would have a hue of 358, 100% saturation, 43% lightness, and yellow would have a hue of 43, 100% saturation, and 53% lightness.
On a quick note, we decided to officially share their website colors codes instead of inspecting their logos, because images that go through any type of compression will inevitably lose their original color values.
A browser on the other hand, will allow you to see the exact color codes that a website was built with.
McDonald’s hasn’t publicly shared any brand usage guideline PDF since 2017, and if they have, it’s seems that they haven’t made it easily available yet.
