The hexadecimal codes for their two main purple shades are #68298C and #9E7FBA.
When it comes to the respective RGB value of those colors, dark purple has 104 red, 41 green, and 140 blue, while light purple has 158 red, 127 green, and 186 blue.
In HSL, dark purple would have a hue of 278, 55% saturation, and 35% lightness, and almost-black would have a hue of 272, 30% saturation, and 61% lightness.
